What personal data we collect and why we collect it


When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. We will at all times maintain a high level of security protocol on your data, however in case of a data breach, we will immediately inform our insurers, with whom we will investigate the source of the breach, seek to patch the leak, investigate the extent of the breach to ascertain what has been accessed, by whom and who has been affected. We will then inform the affected people of the extent of the breach and what action we have taken to remedy the situation.

You have a right to be forgotten, so when you choose to delete your account with us, your data will correspondingly be deleted from our servers.
